Bespoke Dress Design

My experience of design and making varies greatly from theatrical costumes to celebrity and corporate events, weddings, prom and children’s wear. Whatever the occasion, I can work with you from design to final garment to create exactly what you have envisioned.

I have enjoyed great working relationships with previous customers and they all have things in common, they can’t find what they want in the shops, nothing seems to fit right or they just want to feel unique and great in what they are wearing. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This is the best place to go for wedding dress alterations! I absolutely cannot recommend Ceris ENOUGH. She kindly did my wedding dress alterations and did the most phenomenal job. Out of my whole wedding planning, this has been the easiest and most pleasant part of it because Ceris has been a dream to work with. Ceris was really easy to work with and has a professional set up which makes booking her services incredibly easy. She took great care with a sample sale dress that needed taking in significantly, as well as repairing a veil and overskirt, and had great attention to detail. Made To Measure Dresses Process

This bespoke service starts with a free consultation where we can discuss your ideas and estimations of costs. I can then guide you through the process of finalising designs and fabric selection, providing a series of sketches before you are happy for me to proceed with the creation of your garments based on the final quote provided. The process then includes made to measure pattern construction, fabric and finishings, garment construction and all fittings.

For non-local customers or events, garments can be made to a standard UK size which can be discussed during the initial consultation. I am based in Billingshurst, West Sussex, and work with brides from Horsham to Chichester and up to Guildford and Dorking in Surrey including all surrounding areas.
